Today's the first day I have discovered the art of blogging, perhaps I am a decade or so too late But have been motivated by some well meaning friends that this is a very useful way to express one's feelings about a subject so here I go
The past month of hectic politics has kept me engrossed, not to say about the blot on my index finger, which I proudly sport as my duty to the nation .... I guess I shall live immersed in this fantastic feeling of having voted for the first time in 50 years of my life. Unimaginable but true, I managed to get myself enrolled for voting just a month back so did many of my friends and all of us are ecstatic about it. Indian Polity is going through a rough phase, the only silver lining today is the increase in the voting percentages. Seems corrupt netas have injected the much needed venom into us to express at the ballot box!! But then there is hardly an option and I felt having reached a polling booth finally NOTA in its current form is not an option at all. So we voted enthusiastically, for what seemed to be the sanest of the insane options in front of us, and I confess I voted for the person who possibly can make this nation a strong one again and did not bother the details of the candidate in front. I guess many more first timers did the same. So I start blogging with hope in my heart that my moment of insanity results in better future for the nation.
